JAZZOO 2007
Main Stage: THE KC ALL STARS

2007 was definitely the most dancing we've ever seen at Jazzoo!  The KC All Stars had 3 encores that night on the main stage.

The organization of Jazzoo this year was a credit to The Kansas City community as a whole and it was obvious that a lot of hard work and planning went into the entire production.  There is no doubt that Jazzoo has earned the right to be called one of the best charity events in the country.

Jazzoo has been called “Kansas City’s biggest party.” Once a year in June, more than 80 of the area’s top restaurants and bars bring their specialties to the Zoo.  Those attending eat and drink all they wish for the festive evening and dance to the sounds of some of the nation’s top musical acts.  Jazzoo netted more than $625,000 in 2006.  All proceeds benefit the Kansas City Zoo.

Jazzoo 2007 Was a HUGE HIT

Friday, June 1, 2007 included a special appearance from The KC All Stars on the Main Stage, the return of Kansas City's own Dave Stephens Band on the Australian Stage, delicious bites from 80 Kansas City restaurants, beverages from 15-20 full and specialty bars, and continuous live music from National and Local artists on four stages around the Zoo.

On behalf of the Kansas City Zoo, we thank all of you who attended this year's largest fundraiser, Jazzoo 2007.  You played a special role enabling Jazzoo 2007 to raise more than $625,000 and be named the “Best Charitable Event in Kansas City” by Ingram’s Magazine.

Because of you, the money raised from Jazzoo 2007 helped feed hundreds of animals with specially formulated diets designed to meet their nutritional needs.  Jazzoo also helped deliver educational Zoo programs to more than 40,000 children annually.  Jazzoo helped the Kansas City Zoo approach our $1.5 million goal earmarked for our new educational facility, which will begin construction in 2007.

Jazzoo 2007 was proud to present on the Australia Stage...
